On the afternoon of August 2, 2024, at Hoang Mai Stadium, Hanoi, the friendly football match between TOTO Vietnam (TVN) and An Bien Distributor took place successfully, leaving deep impressions in the hearts of each participating member. The event was not only an opportunity for athletes to show their talents, but also a clear demonstration of the sustainable and trustworthy cooperative relationship between the two companies.
Not only is An Bien Distributor cooperating with TVN in the early days of market development in Vietnam, it also accompanies TVN in its CSR (Corporate social responsibility) journey and is also one of the most active partners in TVN’s social activities, especially in building schools for children in mountainous areas, where there are many difficulties and shortages. Right at the friendly match, all players and members participating in the football exchange signed their names on the CSR drawing to add motivation and ignite the upcoming CSR journey of TOTO Vietnam.

The match started with an exchange between the TVN Board of Directors and the An Bien Football Club Board of Directors. Although the first friendly match only lasted 25 minutes, all members gave their all on the field and 4 goals were scored, divided equally between both goals.

With the main purpose of exchanging and learning, improving sportsmanship, physical training and team spirit, the players gave the audience beautiful plays and exciting matches.

On the field, the players performed beautifully, demonstrating the spirit of noble sportsmanship. Outside the field, the fans immersed themselves in the warm and friendly atmosphere.
The special thing about this friendly match was the ceramic cup made by TVN employees and presented to An Bien NPP when they won the football tournament.

CSR acitivites of TOTO Vietnam
Starting from a charity trip to give gifts to schools in Bac Kan province in 2017, witnessing with our own eyes the images of thatched roofs, bamboo walls, makeshift classrooms in rugged terrain, surrounded by mountains, the long and dangerous journey to school, listening to the beautiful dream “I dream of becoming a teacher” of little Trinh Thi Thuy Cham at Bac Kan school urged us to be determined to build schools, so that the children have a safe and warm place to study, teachers have more confidence, peace of mind to help students’ dreams fly. And from here, the intention of “bringing a better tomorrow” to students in difficult areas was originated and shared with more than 4,000 employees, partners, suppliers, distributors…
Things from the heart will touch the heart, the donation activity to build schools for children in the highlands will be spread more widely with the cooperation and support of all TOTO Vietnam employees, Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the Sowing of Love group, partners, suppliers…
With the belief that “1000 people taking 1 step is better than 1 person taking 1000 steps”, TVN continuously continues and maintains CSR activities 2-3-4 towards education. That is, building 2 schools each year, awarding scholarships to 3 universities, 4 high schools. Up to now, 15 schools have been built with the love of hearts that help each other.
Each new school built on the CSR journey is the first step to bring disadvantaged children closer to their dream of literacy. They will have a new, spacious school with better facilities to study with peace of mind and have more faith in a bright future. In September 2024, two more schools in remote mountainous areas of Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces will continue to be built, raising the dreams of the country’s young children. 17 schools will become a warm home, a place to nurture dreams and watch over not only the more than 2,000 students currently studying but also future generations.
The joyful and hopeful eyes of the students at the inauguration ceremonies of new schools are the motivation for us on the way to find other schools. TOTO Vietnam believes that the children will grow up with the love and warmth of the community and that will help them have more motivation to study better. Kindness and affection from the heart will be felt and given by the heart. Those are the most beautiful and meaningful things in life.

2006: Participated in the CSR committee of Thang Long 1 Industrial Park, jointly implemented CSR activities in the Industrial Park
2015: Added activities of receiving interns, collecting trash, welcoming delegations to visit the factory

2017: Added activities: Visiting and giving gifts to children at orphanages, scholarships for university students, building schools, TOTO talk show, Joining Plan International Japan to implement the project “improving hygiene habits in Vietnam”. The No. 1 school in Bac Kan was built.

2019: Added activities: Recruiting people with disabilities, participating in mottainai activities, scholarships for high school students in difficult circumstances, running for Traffic Safety in Hanoi (Kizuna Ekiden)

2020: Added activities: Monthly “Love Day” activities for employees in difficult circumstances, blood donation. CSR regulations were issued with activities 2-3-4 (each year building 2 schools, awarding scholarships to 3 universities, 4 high schools).
