Passionately committed to innovation as a company, TOTO’s goal always is to advance thought to generate improvement and progress.  The only plumbing manufacturer to be honored as Water Efficiency Leader by the Environmental Protection Agency, TOTO’s more than 90-year history of innovation and ground-breaking technology put the company at the forefront of developing high-performance Low Flow 1.6 gallons per flush (gpf) and now High Efficiency 1.28 gpf Toilets.  As they do with every product, TOTO engineers have conducted extensive research and testing to ensure that the company’s high-efficiency toilets perform better than any other water-saving products in the marketplace.

In addition to toilets, TOTO has innovated a wide variety of plumbing products that are specifically designed to conserve water.

EcoPower
TOTO was the first manufacturer to introduce electronic sensor faucets to the US market.  These faucets only operate when the sensor detects the presence of hands and quickly shut off when not needed.  Further, TOTO has innovated the use of water as a power source by designing sensor flush valves and faucets, under the trade name EcoPower, that use the kinetic energy of flowing water to power their electronics, greatly reducing maintenance and eliminating battery disposal, which helps to protect the environment.

Neorest
TOTO also innovated the high-tech, auto-aware, toilet with integrated personal cleansing system, which automatically responds to users and offers warm-aerated water to cleanse and refresh them, significantly reducing the consumption of toilet paper.

SanaGloss
The nano-scale glaze that creates a super-smooth, ionized barrier, which prevents particles from adhering to porcelain, reducing the need for harmful cleaning agents.

Double Cyclone
Like a cyclone in nature, the Double Cyclone flushing system harnesses the power of water and gravity to create a more powerful 1.28 GPF that maximizes cleaning action. Two nozzles (instead of rim holes) use water more efficiently for a better rim and bowl wash and result in less trapped dirt and less cleaning.The dual-nozzle water propulsion system allows more water to be directed to the siphon for a more powerful flush.

Unifit
The modular rough-in, which adapts a skirted toilet to a 10″, 12″, or 14″ rough-in.
