Aiming at human architecture
Terunobu Fujimori's maiden work, Jinchokan Moriya Museum, was completed in 1991, when he was 45 years old. Mr. Fujimori, who was already famous as an architectural historian and a member of a road observation group, made his debut as an architect. It shocked the architectural world. Since then, he has continued to consistently create Fujimori-style architecture, including his latest works ``Yakisugi House'' and ``Nemunoki Children's Museum''.

Mr. Fujimori's commitment to natural materials and plants, such as the dandelions and chives growing on the roof, and the charred cedar board surface, is unique to Mr. Fujimori, who has a thorough knowledge of all kinds of architecture, both ancient and modern, east and west. That's why. In addition, Mr. Fujimori's eyes are on the origins of human architecture, such as Neolithic cave dwellings and African mud houses. That's why Fujimori's architecture is interesting and comfortable for everyone.

This book, which is full of the charm of Fujimori's architecture, appeals to the general public, as well as those involved in architecture and design, for the "enjoyment of architecture."
